Fishing Massachusetts
Fishing Massachusetts waters is a privilege. As kids we can fish in ponds, lakes and rivers. One of the famous rivers to start off and learn fishing is the mighty Charles River. The river is so vast, you can fish a scenic remote area in Millis, Mass one day and fish in Cambridge’s Magazine Beach (BU Bridge) the next. This makes for great fresh water fishing for Blue Gills, Carp, Bass and Perch.

This section of the Charles is in Boston. This is where i started fishing. It is unique with salt and fresh water species. Stripers and Blues travel through here. I knew this spot when it was the Haymarket bridge prior to the stylish Zakim.
