fishing spot
The “fishing spot” is where I share vids, pics and stories in the moment. I’ll see you out there!
Happy fathers day! I’ll start with the first spot. My son and I have an annual father’s day out on the water. We fish Ponky in Canton, MA. It is a local spot with nice scenic views and good pickerel and large mouth bass. In the shadows of Blue Hills.

Hopedale Pond, Hopedale, Massachusetts
Meet Avery! He’s an up and coming fishing master!!. Don’t tell him I said that or it will get to his head. Avery is family!
Favorite Spot: Hopedale Pond
Favorite Bait: Dead or live worm, as long as it is a real worm.
Favorite Species: The Bluegill also know as the Sunfish! But he does catch a variety of fish. A large mouth bass and a perch.

Lake Nippenicket, Bridgewater, Massachusetts

I met Jay and Azalea on the banks of the Nippenicket . Great meeting you both and i hope the rest of the day you landed some nice catch.
Favorite Spot: Lake Nippenicket “The Nip”
Favorite Bait: Senko
Favorite Species: large mouth bass
Shane is new to the area and checking out the Nip. Just like I, we both learned that the Lake Nippenicket is a shallow lake but reputation is it has large species of pickerel and bass.
Favorite Spot: Heard Pond
Favorite Bait: punching rig using 3/4 oz bobber stopper with a straight shank and a rage crawl. This gets the bait down under the weeds to target the big ones.
Favorite Species: large mouth bass

George from Brockton with his awesome kayak motor mount that. He was catching fish when I ran into him. Hi approach was to catch fish by all means. I believe him as he had a stash of minnows floating near by. Until next time George. Thanks for the video of the motor in action. Check out the TikTok video .
Favorite Spot: The Nip
Favorite Bait: Frogs and Top Water with Propeller
Favorite Species: large mouth bass
Ran into some young anglers on the Nip. Meet Gary, Jayce and Rolando. It was nice meeting you all. Good luck with the Palm Tree “Fat Ika”.
Gary likes chatterbait for bass and will fish any spot there is fish.
Jayce likes whopper plopper for bass and his spot is Massasoit State.
Rolando likes Senko for bass and his spot is Lake Rico.

Here’s Rob at Canton Reservoir. He fishes the Rez regularly and was on point the week prior catching a 4 lb largie. Hope to see him again and thanks for sharing the photos! . BTW, nice Hobie Pro Angler!!

I met Brian and Lee at the Sudbury River while they were partaking in a MAKB tournament. Great fall day but not so great fishing. It was nice to have met the both of you. Lee, thanks for the advice about the bubbles. Definitely educated me about carp in the area. Brian, I still did not figure out what fall bait to use either the day as it was a bad fishing day overall. Best of luck on the tournament to the both of you.
